<p>Manage information technology (IT) project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Monitor, track, and report on milestones and deliverables for IT projects. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Direct and coordinate activities of IT project personnel. Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of IT projects. Develop IT strategy and perform risk assessments. Define best practice and roadmaps for network products or solutions and support the development of network architecture. Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to drive product roadmaps for network and WAN tools, by providing requirements that assist with mapping controls and patterns to product features. Work closely with network and information Security team and put together a roadmap of products and solutions. Develop business cases and conduct presentations to senior IT leadership for proposed network products, solutions, and studies. Stay abreast of the latest network information regulatory requirements, technologies, controls, practices, techniques, and threats, and apply this knowledge to the network. Oversee internal skill development activities for network architecture and engineering on new technologies and solutions driven by security and business requirements. Provide mentoring and conduct knowledge sharing sessions. Participate in network incident resolutions and root cause analysis. Lead business development initiatives. Participate in hands-on development of Angular applications.</p>
<p>WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)</p><p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: </p><p>Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.</p><p>Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.</p><p>Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Overseeing technology rollout, including capacity management, definition of scoring methodologies for technology selection, integration of multiple tools, and technical documentation; Event correlation systems to diagnose and resolve security events; Utilizing Angular and C#; Designing and implementing Azure Cloud Strategies and Architectures; Vulnerability scanning; Programming with scripting languages Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript; Azure Cloud Routing; Azure Web Application Firewall and Policies; Azure Web Application Managed Rules and Custom Rules; Azure Function Apps; Azure Service Bus; SQL MI; Azure SQL; Storage Blobs; API Management; Azure Cosmos; Azure Key Vault; Azure Cognitive Services; and Azure Data Factory.</p><p>Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.</p><p>Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.</p><p>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:</p><p>Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 134768 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
