<p>Leverage sector-specific knowledge to inform data analytics (D&amp;A) strategy, transformation, or solution design engagements. Assist clients in understanding the broader D&amp;A journey, its implications, and collaborate with engagement teams to provide domain context necessary for delivering meaningful and effective insights from D&amp;A solutions. Conduct interviews, surveys, workshops, and market research to gather client and market information. Identify and document client requirements, styles, and preferences for visualizations within sectors of expertise. Support the design, management, execution, and implementation of complex analytical and statistical models. Assess, capture, and translate complex business needs and existing organization D&amp;A maturity levels into a structured strategy for D&amp;A capability development, including role and process design, analytics use case ideation, and technology roadmaps with the ability to explain data and analytics concepts to non-technical team members. Utilize statistical methods to explore data, and identify key trends and insights from multi-faceted, high-dimensional data. Formulate hypothesis-driven, problem-solving approaches to design and review all aspects of data visualization with clients. Collaborate with data scientists to create diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights. Rapidly iterate, prototype, and implement visualizations that meet client needs. Consider composition, color, texture, and optimize information density for the target user. Support project leaders in tracking and communicating project risk, budgets, rates, and launch/closeout activities, including the administration of work papers and collaboration sites.</p>
<p>WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)</p><p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: </p><p>Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 50%.</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.</p><p>Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Analytics solution design, data visualization, and applying advanced analytics and statistical methods to solve business issues; Developing business operational process and financial data modeling for Financial Services, Government or Healthcare sectors for process-specific data transformation; Designing data visualization interactive user interfaces for large-scale implementation of over 100 or more users; Using Alteryx, Microsoft SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks for building comprehensive data engineering processes; Implementing and developing large-scale visual analytics solutions using Power BI and Tableau; SQL and Python; Utilizing mainstream cloud infrastructures including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud; and Applying Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles to optimize project planning, execution, and delivery.</p><p>Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need.</p><p>Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.</p><p>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:</p><p>Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 134531 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
