<p>Support financial services clients by providing regulatory analyses on the impact of the intersection of investment banking, private equity, and proprietary trading sections of financial institutions. Provide regulatory analyses on the impact of the Volcker Rule as it relates to operational risks associated with executing, reporting, and transactional activity in supported securities processing areas from trade capture to risk and product control, through to settlement. Collect data from various sources, including internal databases, regulatory filings, and market reports, to understand the client's current trading practices and investment strategies. Facilitate the development of appropriate governance and compliance programs to respond to the Volcker Rule and aid clients with organizational implementation of compliance programs to align with regulatory requirements. Ensure engagements are aligned according to KPMG's financial and cost management policies. Assist in the development and management of ongoing client relationships.</p>
<p>WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)</p><p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: </p><p>Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Law, Management Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Law, Management Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.</p><p>Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Consumer compliance and safety and soundness regulations related to consumer protection including Unfair Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Truth in Lending (Reg Z), and the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act (FDCPA); Designing and implementing target operating models for financial entities; Preparing compliance management programs and end to end enterprise frameworks based on compliance requirements; and Global project management for major financial institutions.</p><p>Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need.</p><p>Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.</p><p>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:</p><p>Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 134420 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
