<p>Develop, implement, and maintain financial models utilizing diverse valuation methods, such as loan valuation, binomial lattice models, Monte Carlo simulation, and other advanced financial modeling techniques. Prepare and review valuation reports and presentations. Coordinate with corporate, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and banking clients for valuation of fixed income investments and other complex financial instruments. Conduct market research on fixed income securities. Liaise with various financial institutions for financial reporting and regulatory compliance purposes. Management of multiple engagements relating to the valuation, auditing and structuring of complex financial instruments, in the context of financial reporting, tax as well as mergers and acquisitions. Assist in the management and growth of the national complex securities team, including recruiting and training. Participate in business development and origination opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.</p>
<p>WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)</p><p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: </p><p>Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to 5%.</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Quantitative &amp; Computational Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Quantitative &amp; Computational Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 5 years of post‐bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.</p><p>Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Pricing and valuation of fixed income instruments, and complex assets and liabilities, in an accounting firm, financial reporting boutique, or similar consulting firm; Developing and implementing financial models in relation to complex securities valuation; Performing valuation of investments and other complex financial instruments utilizing Microsoft Excel VBA, Python, mathematical models, Bloomberg, Numerix, or Matlab; Constructing valuation schedules, presentations, and written reports outlining valuation methodologies, key input assumptions and resulting conclusions for applicable documentation purposes; and Overseeing multiple engagements related to the valuation and auditing of complex financial instruments for financial reporting purposes.</p><p>Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.</p><p>Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.</p><p>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:</p><p>Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 134387 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
