<p>KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, HR Business Advisor to join our Talent & Culture organization.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Act as a key strategic advisor to the Audit and Mid-Atlantic Business Unit leaders and provide counsel and support to respective client group on all HR processes</li><li>Leverage data analytics to help leaders identify, diagnose and respond to trends in their business; based on analyses, develop and provide strategic recommendations on programs and HR initiatives, such as action items because of periodic employee engagement surveys, exit survey and/or similar activities</li><li>Stay informed and current on policies, procedures, and any related changes; apply these to client group, collaborate with People Relations Group peers to solve for immediate employee issues and partner with them as they lead confidential investigations</li><li>Oversee full compliance with the firm’s performance management process for client group, providing counsel to management on how to effectively link business strategy to goal setting and provide timely, meaningful feedback during the annual goal-setting, interim, and year-end review processes</li><li>Provide counsel and guidance on salary issues related to internal promotions, new hire compensation and market/equity adjustments; collaborate with the compensation group to develop and interpret job assignments, appropriate FLSA classification and internal/external equity, within the practice and/or functional level</li><li>Play an integral role in the client group’s talent management processes</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum eight years of recent, progressive relevant HR and/or comparable experience, with comprehensive knowledge of HR-related principles, laws, and regulations</li><li>Masters’ degree from an accredited college or university in an HR-related field or PHR/SPHR certification preferred; minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in human resource management, organizational development, business administration or the equivalent work experience</li><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li><li>Ability to build and maintain relationships with the firm’s partners and employees</li><li>Capable of coaching and training individuals in critical HR competencies</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)</li></ul>
