<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Engineer, UX/UI to join our Ignition Tax Product Group. This is a hybrid work opportunity.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Champion user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design across assigned projects, ensuring intuitive, seamless end‑to‑end user journeys</li><li>Advocate for UX/UI vision by effectively communicating design intent, rationale, and standards to cross‑functional project teams and stakeholders</li><li>Lead stakeholder and user interviews to uncover business needs and user requirements, facilitating whiteboarding and collaborative ideation sessions</li><li>Translate user insights into personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, task analyses, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes</li><li>Conduct and manage design reviews, feedback sessions, and user testing to validate solutions and ensure alignment with user needs and expectations</li><li>Apply Tax Design System standards consistently and collaborate closely with UI developers to ensure accurate, accessible, and high‑quality implementation, while continuously exploring opportunities to integrate AI into the UX/UI workflow</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum three years of recent experience designing intuitive, engaging websites or applications with a strong focus on usability and user‑centered design principles</li><li>Bachelor's degree in from an accredited college/university Design, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; High School diploma or GED required</li><li>Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate design concepts, direction, and rationale to diverse stakeholders through strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, with proven experience designing inclusive and compliant user experiences&nbsp;</li><li>High proficiency with industry‑standard design and collaboration tools, including Figma, FigJam, Mural, Miro, and Office 365</li><li>Solid conceptual understanding of backend technologies and development practices, enabling effective collaboration between design and engineering teams</li><li>Required to maintain an online portfolio showcasing representative UX/UI work that demonstrates design expertise, problem‑solving approach, and creative execution</li></ul>
