<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Events & Meetings to join our Events & Meetings team.</p><p><font face="arial" size="2">Responsibilities:</font></p><ul><li><font face="arial" size="2">Plan and execute in-person, virtual and hybrid events or programs to include but not limited to: project timelines, contract negotiation, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, innovative event concepts, elevation of the attendee experience, support of agenda development, and logistics management</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders to aligned business groups to ensure that service delivery is aligned and fully supports the event goals and firm priorities</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Collaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Work as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logistics</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Work both independently and as part of a project team to make decisions in accordance with firm policies, procedures, compliance and risk management using firm-supported tools</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Collaborate with Events & Meetings colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency, and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approach</font></li><li><font face="arial" size="2">Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment</font></li></ul><p><font face="arial" size="2">Qualifications:</font></p><ul><li>Minimum three years of recent experience in events and meeting planning within a professional services firm is preferred</li><li><span data-teams="true">Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; high school diploma or GED required</span></li><li>Experience in professional relationship building and key client/stakeholder management</li><li>Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by client focus and teamwork; able to ideate, create, plan, and execute executive-level events consistently meeting and exceeding key stakeholder event objectives</li><li>Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; event experience or knowledge is preferred</li><li>Ability to travel as needed</li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)</li></ul>
