<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Business and Public Policy to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Advise KPMG business leaders on how federal policy developments, from emerging debates to enacted laws, create risks and opportunities for clients and the firm</li><li>Analyze and forecast federal political and policy developments to provide actionable, forward-looking intelligence to internal stakeholders</li><li>Develop and maintain a suite of marketplace intelligence products and resources, including informational hotlines, for firm-wide use</li><li>Deliver tailored briefings and presentations on key political and policy developments to firm leaders, industry groups, and client-service teams</li><li>Serve as a firm-wide subject matter expert on federal affairs, responding to inquiries from professionals across all practices regarding the impact of public policy on clients and business pursuits</li><li>Collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure intelligence is relevant and helps to signal potential business opportunities</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum ten years of recent experience in federal policy analysis, political risk, or marketplace intelligence, preferably within a large company, professional services firm, or government affairs setting</li><li>Master's degree or Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school is preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications; familiarity with AI tools and strong analytical skills are highly desirable</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of public policy developments, legislative processes, and executive actions at the federal level, with the ability to analyze their impact on various industries</li><li>Proven capability to synthesize complex political and policy information into actionable insights and deliver tailored briefings to senior leaders and diverse internal audiences</li><li>Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; capable of exercising independent judgment related to complex intelligence matters</li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)</li></ul>
