<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Enterprise Contracting Center.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Apply authoritative and unique command of the firm's high-level strategic direction to develop and execute the vision and strategic plan for the centralized Enterprise Contracting Center, serving as the firm's primary leader and single point of contact for all matters related to contract templating, drafting, review, negotiation, and lifecycle management</li><li>Overall accountability for the Enterprise Contracting Center, comprised of onshore and offshore government and commercial contracting, data analytics, technology, compliance, strategy and operations professionals; responsible for the group’s organization, recruiting, coaching, career development and the mentoring and development of a high-performing, inclusive team</li><li>Be the primary contributor to significant process improvement and re-engineering within the contracting function and across the firm; lead complex transformation initiatives, including the strategic implementation and adoption of the Icertis Contract Intelligence platform, to enhance quality, efficiency, and drive a material impact on business operations</li><li>Strategic and proactive responsibility to direct the optimization of the contracting function; evaluate and execute on courses of action that drive significant productivity gains, operational efficiencies, and cost reductions through strategic resource allocation, including the shift of functions to back-office support and the leverage of digital solutions and AI</li><li>Oversee the adoption and optimization of digital tools and automation and data analytics dashboards; empower business leadership with real-time, data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making</li><li>Oversee and enable compliance with all firm policies, regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards related to commercial and government contracts</li><li>Interface with and advise senior leadership across the U.S. firm, including Digital Nexus, Risk Management, Firmwide Operations and client service partners from Audit, Tax and Advisory; apply exceptional executive presence and a strong command of the issues to align contracting strategy with business objectives and ensure the goals of multiple constituencies are met</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum 15 years of recent relevant experience</li><li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in Business or related field required; Master’s Degree highly preferred</li><li>Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to drive the transformational agenda; demonstrated ability to influence, educate and interact with diverse leaders and teams across the organization; external consulting experience preferred </li><li>Exceptional verbal/written communication, collaboration, negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions. Lead and ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them</li><li>Advantageous Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project/program management certification. Certifications in government or commercial contracting (e.g., Government Contracting Best Practices, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or equivalent); compliance and risk certifications (e.g., Government Risk Compliance Professional, Government Risk Compliance Auditor, Integrated Policy Management Professional)</li><li>Commitment to continuous professional development through executive education, industry conferences, and specialized training programs; demonstrated history of attending advanced contracting, compliance, and leadership academies; active engagement in knowledge sharing, thought leadership and speaking at industry events is encouraged</li></ul>
