<p>Leverage project management expertise to oversee the delivery of statutory financial statements, income tax computations, tax provisioning, tax accounting, and transfer pricing, to support Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) engagements. Support the Project Management Office (PMO) function for GCMS engagements by establishing comprehensive project plans, tracking internal and statutory deadlines, monitoring project milestones and deliverables, ensuring approvals are received timely, escalating issues proactively, and facilitating meetings throughout the project lifecycle. Create and present project status presentations and deliver to each GCMS engagement. Act as the principal liaison for clients across all work streams in GCMS engagements, ensuring comprehensive support in direct and indirect tax, statutory accounting, financial reporting, and transfer pricing. Facilitate clear and consistent communication with key stakeholders across GCMS engagements and KPMG service lines to define, maintain, and achieve project requirements and objectives. Guide clients through the creation of robust global compliance governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to tax and financial reporting obligations by monitoring resource alignment to projects, developing approval processes with key stakeholders, and creating communication plans for issue resolution. Coordinate diverse international tax and compliance matters for multinational corporate clients. Participate in new business proposals for GCMS service delivery and business development by contributing to proposal responses, analyzing global pricing strategies, and assessing potential engagement economics and revenue implications. Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for engagement, collaborating closely with lead partners to refine account strategies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for KPMG’s Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) methodologies and tools, facilitating knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities. Coach associates and senior associates and deliver constructive guidance and timely performance feedback to team members.</p>
<p>WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)</p><p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: </p><p>Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 25% required.</p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Taxation, Law, Commerce, or a related field, and 7 years of related work experience. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s degree.</p><p>Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: project management over corporate tax, statutory accounting, or transfer pricing projects to multinational clients; serving as a project manager over global tax compliance and reporting obligations; providing technical tax or regulatory change updates to clients; assisting clients in developing governance frameworks to meet global compliance and reporting obligations; handling client billing and fee analysis; supporting and preparing proposals for service delivery and business development; and providing feedback to development teams related to technology platforms and tools.</p><p>Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the job location, depending on business need.</p><p>Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.</p><p>QUALIFIED APPLICANTS:</p><p>Apply online at https://www.kpmguscareers.com/job-search and type requisition number 131440 in the keyword search box for Experienced Professionals.
