<p>KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Events & Meetings to join our Events and Meetings organization.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with planners and stakeholders by utilizing event related technology and platforms to plan and execute live, hybrid or virtual events with the expectation of varying scalability; create web sites and surveys in the event management tool (Cvent) that meet the objectives of the event and capture essential data to align with program goals</li><li>Facilitate program communications within Cvent and edit communications as required, including invites, reminders, confirmations, surveys and other post event communications</li><li>Act as primary contact to create and schedule standard and custom reports for the planner and stakeholder from pre-to-post event; support the ongoing verification of data integrity and reconciliation of data within Cvent</li><li>Collaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors, to include graphic design and production, ION, national purchasing, learning and development, campus recruiting and specialty item vendors</li><li>Manage hotel room blocks within Cvent, work collaboratively with hotel contacts regarding changes and special requests, review inventory (attrition and increases), and manage overflow hotel blocks</li><li>Coordinate onsite responsibilities to include event registration, participant inquiries and issues, hotel related room block issues, on demand badge printing, and collateral distribution</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum one year of recent experience, preferably within an events and meetings team or professional services firm</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred or minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Cvent knowledge preferred</li><li>Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationships</li><li>Ability to travel up to 30% annually</li></ul>
