<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our CFO team.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Prepare and analyze reports to support the firm's broker-dealer financial statements, regulatory compliance, and monthly management reports</li><li>Arrange and analyze financial transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP, firm policies, procedures, and tax reporting requirements</li><li>Organize consolidation entries for firm-owned entities and accounting reports to assist the partnership tax department</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries as part of the financial reporting process</li><li>Handle other ad hoc requests or special projects as needed</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum three years of recent progressive accounting and finance experience; preferably within a professional services environment</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required preferably in finance or accounting; CPA preferred</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, data retrieval systems and reporting systems; Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle FCCS, and SAP preferred</li><li>Ability to independently organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks</li><li>Capability to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality work product</li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)</li></ul>
