<p>KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Event Management to join our Events & Meetings organization.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Plan and execute on events or programs to include but not limited to: project timelines, budgeting and approvals, data analysis and reporting, research and sourcing, support of agenda development, virtual platform support and logistics management</li><li>Work as part of the planning team on large scale programs to support the event objectives and logistics</li><li>Support internal client's strategic initiatives by working with multiple stakeholders to connect program concepts and strategy</li><li>Collaborate and manage deliverables with other internal departments and external vendors, to include, but not limited to: contracting & compliance, graphic design and production, marketing, communications, national purchasing, learning operations, campus recruiting and specialty item vendors</li><li>Maintain integrity around compliance and controls and adhere to risk management using firm-supported tools</li><li>Collaborate with Events & Meetings colleagues to share industry updates, promote best practices, drive synergies and consistency, and foster a culture of innovation to highlight a client-centric approach</li><li>Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum one year of recent experience in events and meeting planning, preferably within a professional services firm</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred </li><li>Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationships</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>Ability to travel up to thirty percent annually</li></ul>
